What Our Community Says
“I never thought I’d learn to ride a bike at my age. This Centre helped me feel free, confident, and stronger.”
Women’s Wellbeing Participant“The advice team helped me sort out my benefits when I had nowhere else to turn. They treated me with dignity.”
Advice & Advocacy Service User“We were very close to losing our home. My husband and I couldn’t read or write English, and we didn’t understand how to use Universal Credit or the online journal. We had rent arrears and didn’t know why. The Centre's housing advisor took the time to explain everything in our language, sorted out the incorrect benefit sanctions, and helped us claim what we were entitled to. Because of their support, we were able to clear our arrears and stay in our home. Without their help, we would have been homeless. They gave us hope when we had none.”

“The ESOL class changed my life. I can now speak to my doctor without needing a translator. Thank you for giving me my voice.”
